This week, LaMelo finally got to get in front of the cameras for a little Question and Answer session to give us all the hype we need in the slowest sports week of the year. LeBron talk about coming to Minnesota grew even stronger as both president Connelly and LaMelo expressed enthusiasm during the interviews. LeBron would be the perfect piece to our missing four spot, but Minnesota could not be that lucky, right? Tim Connelly also hinted at hitting up a few other free agent Power Forwards which at this point would be someone like Draymond Green, Jeremy Sochan, and Jonathan Kominga.
Ball also commented on playing with his fellow 2020 draft pick, Anthony Edwards. He’s excited, I’m excited, we are all excited to watch this potential magic unfold although a small part of me is sucked back to 2017 when Jimmy Butler did his famous press conference offering up his legitimate phone number for fans to call. Chaos was the only thing that came out of that season but who knows. Everything must happen for a reason since we ended up with the 1st pick and our savior, Anthony Edwards with his rival, LaMelo Ball.
