Training Camp is off and running as the rookies and vets all report in! Our biggest drama fest will be the QB battle between Kyler and JJ but I am sure something else will come up as the weeks go on. So far this week, we have Jordan Addison getting a lot of attention, possibly eyeing a comeback from an average season last year. We also got to see a little kerfuffle allegedly between JJ and Kyler and words were thrown back and forth. The first round draft pick that may or may not be injury prone has reported in and Justin Jefferson is looking like he is ready to be a top five WR again. With that, I will get into the stories so far..

7/27/26 – Brian Flores is cooking up something good this year and we are all ready for it. A tweet from the Linebacker himself confirmed the reports that Jamal Adams has signed with the Vikings. This would be his 10th year in the league 6th team to play on. He has earned more than $71 million over that span. In the same breath, Jordan Mims has also signed with the Vikings and will compete for a roster spot as a Running Back or on special teams

7/28/26 – Nostalgia will hit us hard on November 9 as Adrian Peterson is inducted into the Ring of Honor. The future Hall of Famer himself was a walking highlight tape. He was a seven time Pro Bowler, Offensive Rookie of the year in 2007, almost had the record for most rushing yards in a season with 2,097 and ranks fifth in all time rushing yards with 14,918. If he could just catch a ball, he might still be playing today. We will never forget that 2009 NFC Title game where AP built us up and then tore us down. For research purposes, I will include a highlight tape just to let the world know who was King of the Running Back mountain.

7/28/26 – For those who may have missed it, Tony Ro– I mean the Vikings DB coach, Gerald Alexander had a DWI back in April and will have to pay for it. He was suspended by the team for three weeks and took full responsibility. He has worked for Brian Flores in Miami and Pittsburgh

7/28/26 – Some good news today as Vikings fans should be relieved that Brian O’Neill has signed to a new four year extension. The 6’7” 310 lb Tackle was drafted back in 2018 in the second round and has started 120 out of 124 games he has played. He has also had two Pro Bowl appearances. Adam Schefter says the contract will be worth $96 million as he and Christian Darrisaw are set to go for the foreseeable future.

7/29/26 – The haters will not like to know that Caleb Banks did report for Training Camp this week and participated in team drills. It seems to be that he is healthy and ready to go although it sounds like he’s on a pitch count. Along with Caleb, we also have some young talent with Dominique Orange who was drafted in the third round and then Jalen Redmond who is only 27. This line already has the ‘Williams Wall’ hype when you look at the raw potential.
